My daughter and I were recently asked by the lovely team at Oh Flossy to review some of the products from their range. The brand offers natural and safe kids makeup, so for a 6 year old (who is going on 16) this was the perfect collaboration we could be asked to partake in.
I was familiar with the brand as I had seen the products in the kid’s hairdressers that we visit, and whom has a lovely gift shop attached to it. I already knew the products looked gorgeous, so I was very eager to be given the opportunity to try them for ourselves. Plus, if you are anything like me, you are conscious of the products that our kids are putting on their delicate, beautiful skin.

First Impression of Natural and Safe Kids Makeup
The parcel arrived quickly in the post, which is always a positive in my books. The products were collated and wrapped beautifully in their delivery box and my daughter could barely contain her excitement to open them and start playing with the makeup. All of the individual packaging of each product themselves is absolutely stunning – both sweet yet sophisticated. And one of my personal favourite touches was the space to add my daughter’s name and the slogan on the inside of the makeup set:

Where do I start? There is A LOT that we love about the Oh Flossy products. These include:
All Natural Products
The ingredients used in the Oh Flossy products are natural, vegan-friendly, biodegradable & non-toxic. Personally, this is a very important component for me when deciding whether to allow my daughter to have some fun with makeup.
Safe for young skin
Due to the natural ingredients, the products are safe for young and sensitive skin. Natural and safe kids makeup products for the win!

I am an Aussie at heart and I am always preferential to a strong Australian brand and supporting our onshore businesses.
Colours
The colour ranges of the products are very charming and pretty, unlike some of the ghastly colour selections in other kids makeup products. Not to mention, the pigment of the eyeshadow and lipstick are excellent, meaning a little goes a long way.
Quality
The quality of all the products we tested are exceptional. The headband is oh so soft, as are the makeup brushes. And the nail stickers are ridiculously cute. The nail polish is easy to apply, and just as easy to remove with the remover wipes. The less messy the makeup, the better!
Easy to remove
There is nothing worse as a parent than trying to scrub off makeup, paint or glitter before school on a Monday morning. These products are so easy to remove with just water, meaning no need for nasty products or excessive scrubbing.
Price Point
I wont deny that these products are a little on the higher side when compared with some other products on the market. However, you are paying for the quality and the fact that these products are natural with no nasties. When it comes to our kids, personally I think it is really important to be conscious about what we allow them to put on their delicate skin, especially their faces. And these products provide me with the confidence that they will be gentle and non-irritating when using them.
Overall Review
We are officially huge fans of Oh Flossy and the safe kids makeup products that they have on offer. Everything is so sweet, but also sophisticated in a way that it doesn’t feel too ‘babyish’ or as though its is for really young children (this is of utmost importance for our daughter who wants to be grown up).
The quality is extraordinary and if she were to let me, I think I would confiscate the brushes and nail stickers for myself.
