When Stickerscape reached out and asked if we would be interested in trying some of their girls bedroom wall stickers, I jumped at the opportunity. We moved into our home 3 weeks before Mackenzie was born. Just a few months prior we started our expat adventure and had relocated from Australia to England.
We had no furniture and just basic home wares, which meant that our little girl was never given an Instagram worthy nursery. She recently turned 2 and is quickly becoming a ‘big girl‘. So I thought it was the perfect opportunity to create a beautiful toddler bedroom with some girls bedroom wall stickers from Stickerscape.
CHOOSING THE STICKERS
I had my choice of the entire website and I was impressed with the significant range of kids room wall stickers available. I decided on a hot air balloon – it is whimsical and calming. The perfect choice for a girls bedroom wall stickers. Plus Mackenzie really enjoys watching the balloons take off near our home – from the Knavesmire and over York Racecourse. However, I also suspect that Peppa Pig’s adventures may have had some influence on her love of balloons too.
UP, UP AND AWAY QUOTE WALL STICKER
The colour scheme in our toddler girl’s room is pale grey, soft pink and white. I’m not going to lie – these are my favourite decor colours and therefore have been imposed on my daughter. She will likely completely rebel against this at some point in the future. I ordered the ‘light grey‘ coloured girls bedroom wall sticker and this works perfectly with the existing decor.
APPLYING THE STICKERS
Now I have to admit it …I am pretty useless at DIY. Thankfully my parents had planned a visit which meant I could coerce them into helping me put the stickers on the wall. It took us under an hour to apply the girls bedroom wall stickers and it went up completely drama free. Needless to say, we had a very happy little girl once we were finished.
